Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in coaching soccer.
  • Proven ability to mentor and guide students.

Skills and Abilities

  • Strong ability to connect and engage with middle school athletes.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and coaching staff.

Essential Responsibilities

Program Leadership

  • Organize and develop program staff in partnership with the Athletic Department.
  • Plan and execute daily practice sessions that prioritize skill development and teamwork.
  • Oversee the program budget and administrative tasks necessary for program success.

Faith and Character Development

  • Intentionally nurture athletes' faith and Christian character.
  • Help athletes discover and maximize their God-given talents.
  • Serve as a Christ-centered role model for all student-athletes.

League and Compliance

  • Educate coaching staff on Aiken-Augusta Middle School League rules and regulations.
  • Ensure program alignment with league standards and guidelines.

Parent and Community Engagement

  • Partner effectively with parents, fostering positive relationships that support student-athletes.
  • Represent the program and Westminster culture at school functions as requested by the Athletic Department.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Advise athletes on proper use and care of soccer equipment.
  • Actively contribute to the Westminster culture by upholding its values and mission.
  • Participate in school-wide events and maintain a visible presence within the Westminster community.
